Info

TIM DRAKE
name Timothy Jackson Drake-Wayne
alias Red Robin
age 18
gender Male
occupation Vigilante, Detective
Continuity notes: I play Tim from mostly pre-52 comics, with an emphasis on the Red Robin series, but I do sprinkle in a number of New 52, Rebirth, Wayne Family Adventures, and video game elements for flavor. He defaults to working on his own as Red Robin, but teaming up with other Bat-Family members as needed. That said, if you want me to play around with things, let me know!

positive

strategic, loyal, passionate, intelligent, sweet, grounded, determined

neutral

awkward, idealistic, detailed, introverted, nerdy, curious, boyish

negative

stubborn, self-concious, avoidant, cunning, workaholic, control-freak
Visual: Pale skin, cerulean blue eyes, long dark hair that can be styled to look professional. Androgynous and pretty. On the skinnier side but has forced a lean, lithe build through strict workouts. Claims to be 5'7".
Aural: Crisp, matter-of-fact, formal unless with friends. Generally pretty average in pitch, volume, and timbre unless worked up. Slight New Jersey accent.
Olfactory: His typical cologne is light and refreshing, with notes of fresh snow, lily of the valley, cherry blossom, and pear.
Demeanor: Far more confident in the suit than out of it. Tends to mask his anxiety behind an even-keeled persona. Does his best to come off as a typical teenager. Looks like he could use a good nap.
background;
Timothy Jackson Drake-Wayne is the only son of the wealthy owners of Drake Industries, Janet and Jack Drake. As a toddler, the Drakes took Tim to see the circus. In order to calm his wife's fears that Tim might be frightened, Jack asked for a photo with the Flying Graysons. It was there that Tim first met Dick Grayson, who offered to dedicate his performance to the toddler. Unfortunately, that was the night that John and Mary Grayson were murdered during their performance. As the Drakes left the tent, Tim saw Bruce Wayne comfort Dick Grayson.
At age nine, Tim saw footage of Batman and Robin apprehending the Penguin. Robin performed a quadruple somersault, which only a Flying Grayson could do. Learning that Dick had become the ward of Bruce Wayne, he was able to deduce their identities. Tim kept their secrets to himself, and followed their adventures, watching Dick become Nightwing and Jason Todd become the next Robin.
After Jason's death, a thirteen year old Tim noticed Batman becoming increasingly unhinged. Tim managed to convince Dick that Batman needed help. However, Dick wanted to help Batman as Nightwing, and Tim insisted Batman needed a Robin. Dick ignored Tim's protest and ran off to help his mentor, resulting in both Dick and Bruce being captured by Two-Face.
Tim donned the Robin costume, with help from Alfred Pennyworth, and managed to save his two idols. Though Batman was reluctant to allow Tim to become the next Robin, Dick and Alfred helped convince him it was necessary. He was put through months of training by Alfred, Bruce, and Dick to prepare him to be the next Robin.
Unfortunately, just as his training was almost finished, the criminal Obeah Man captured Tim's parents in the Caribbean. Batman managed to save them, but out of desperation the couple drank water laced with poison. Janet Drake died and was buried on Christmas Eve, and Jack Drake fell into a coma. To help clear up any doubts about Tim's preparedness to become Robin, Batman suggested that Tim take a tour overseas and go through intensive training. This training involved learning from masters of many different sorts, most notably Lady Shiva.
Tim returned to Gotham ready to take on the Robin mantle. He found a lot of success in his role, calmer than Jason and more analytical than Dick. One of the founding members of Young Justice, Tim ended up acting as leader due to his training from Batman, and became very close with all of them. The group eventually disbanded, only to join together with members of the Titans to form the new Teen Titans.
Jack Drake, having awoken from his coma and wanting to spend more time with his son, discovered what Tim and Bruce were up to. Furious, he went to Bruce and threatened to reveal everyone's identities. Instead, Tim agreed to quit being Robin, and the mantle was taken up by his then girlfriend Stephanie Brown. Tim did what he could to assist from the outside, but quickly realized Gotham needed him as Robin. His father agreed, and Tim got the mantle back just as Stephanie seemingly died.
Just after the lost of Stephanie, Tim's father Jack was killed by Captain Boomerang. Bruce offered to adopt Tim but was turned down. Around this time Jason Todd returned, back from the dead, as the new Red Hood. Furious that Bruce would continue to put kids in danger, Jason broke into the Titans tower, defeated the other Titans, and confronted Tim. The two fight, but Jason quickly gets the upper hand. Although Tim was defeated, Jason demands to know if he still believed himself to be as good as people say, to which Tim replied with a defiant "Yes" before Todd rendered him unconscious.
Superboy was discovered dead and Tim revealed a new costume that was only red and black—the colors his best friend wore. Having been through so much in the past few years, when Bruce again offered to adopt Tim, this time Tim accepted. More tragedies followed, as Tim's second closest friend Impulse soon died as well.
It was during these struggles that Batman seemingly died, leaving Tim an orphan once again. Tim tried to urge Dick to become Batman, but Dick refused. It was discovered that Jason Todd had taken up the mantle, but was using lethal tactics. Tim donned the Batsuit and took Jason on, but was ultimately impaled on a batarang and left for dead.
Tim managed to survive the severe wounds to his chest to see that Dick had finally agreed to take up the Batman mantle. Only Dick decided that he would give Robin to Batman's blood son Damian rather than him. Feeling betrayed and furious, Tim cut off the Bat-family, who believed he was having mental issues because he became convinced that Bruce Wayne hadn't died. Tim took on the mantle previously worn by Jason: Red Robin. He was contacted by Ra's al Ghul, who wanted to help him find Bruce. With the help of the League of Assassins, Tim found evidence that Bruce was still alive and trapped in a time stream. Tim then used the League's computers to blow up their facilities across the world in an attempt to end the organization. The League of Justice summoned Tim to their headquarters to help save Bruce from where he was stranded in time. As soon as Bruce returned, he formed Batman Incorporated, which Tim quickly joined.
